As a part of A Voice Discovered's mission to provide information and education about AAC, we provide free workshops 2-4 times per year for families of people who use AAC or could benefit from AAC as well a professionals who work with those who use or could benefit from AAC. Workshops have typically been offered in the evenings at various locations in Camarillo, CA. Workshops are presented by local Speech and Language Pathologists specializing in AAC as well as by local attorneys who specialize in special education law. Topics have included the following:

- AAC and the IEP
- AAC and My Legal Rights
- Practical Strategies: Using AAC at home and in the community
- AAC Implementation
- AAC and Literacy
